Tis the season to be merry -despite the challenges of Covid19! So lets stay as positive as possible with this gallery of seasonal images from our teams.
Our Mr Chrimbo himself - Registered Manager Neil Sadler (who else?) has sent this fab dispatch to the Oaklea grotto: “Hope you all love our collage pic of the Walby Hill Ladies Christmas night with their very own Elvis Bar and Mary the barmaid.” As Neil will testify nothing says Christmas more than a bar and Elvis…..clearly in Rothbury, Northumberland anyway! Seasons greetings to you all!
“Suits you sirs” -What a top festive line up - can you spot Father Christmas?
OK - You can handover the goody bag now Santa!
Top double act: Santa was also accompanied by Mrs Claus! (wearing her traditional long green cape - watch out Marvel Cinematic Universe!)
Plus - Ali the house Supervisor, kept a very close guard on the mince pies as Santa is well known for the odd festive treat….any false move and the Reindeers are grounded!
Please note regarding the ‘man in red’ - any likeness to Oaklea/Right2Work man of international mystery Mr Grant ‘Laal G’ Huck is purely a figment of your imagination….ssshhhhh…tis Christmas after all and we’re allowed to be creative!
Meanwhile over in County Durham a visit of a different kind. Cindy from our good chums at Fairoak Housing Association visited one of our homes in Barnard Castle with 2 mega hampers for Christmas for the customers to enjoy… Cindy can be seen with customer Andrew.
Whilst back in South Lakeland Oaklea customers enjoyed a festive walk round the Christmas lights in Kendal with some members from Riversiders Trust followed by a brew in a local café. Adult Team Supervisor, Paul “Mr G” Gillard: “It’s been one of the few occasions where we’ve been able to meet up this year.”
Alice is always ‘switched on’ for a good time….
Big thumbs up - cos Patrick says it’s ‘lighting up time’…
“Are you being served?”: Callum - one of the gang enjoying their time at Nina’s Cafe - a popular haunt for our club regulars!
And if all these fab images were not enough….nothing says Christmas more than our big cheese, CEO Clive Wigley, with a Santa hat on and a mulled wine fortified Reindeer….(taken whilst he was ‘wishing’ all Oaklea/R2W teams seasonal greetings….)
