Customer Forum

As a values led organisation customer rights and choices are of paramount importance, by creating an environment where customers are able to exercise a high degree of control and where customer communication is supported.

The values of the Oaklea Trust are expressed in the statement that ‘the customer is at the centre of everything we do’. Customers are viewed as individuals with individual experiences, individual talents and individual needs. Customers are supported to express their individuality both through the use of individual planning tools and through the behaviour and attitudes of those we employ.

By utilizing the Trusts in house customer plan ‘My Life My Choices’  each customer benefits from choice and control over their daily lives and opportunities to develop skills, be healthy, and receive support/care as and when they require. Support plans recognize the role of faith and ethnic identity and we will work with customers to support diversity and promote equality. 

The Customer Forum acts as the vehicle for customers to take part in reviews of other customers’ experiences of Oaklea Trust.
