Can We Help You?

As an organisation, the Oaklea Trust provide a wide range of services and activities to help and support disabled and disadvantaged people throughout the North of England.

Each and every one of our customers have very different requirements and, working with you and understanding your personal needs, we tailor our service provision carefully to ensure that you and everyone else receive the right level of individual care, right when you need it.

We work with families who have a disabled child or children, providing levels of care which range from occasional respite help, day centres and leisure activities to full-time assistance if required.

This care can also extend out of the family home and we are able to deliver our support for children right through the school years and through into higher education and colleges.

If you are an adult, our support can extend to help with you gaining (and maintaining) your independence. This can mean assisting you to move into accommodation on your own or part of a shared house with friends.

If you wish, and your circumstances allow, it can also mean finding you a job: by talking with our Right2Work team, together we can help you prepare for employment, guide you through the interview and induction processes so that you can play a valuable part of a business.

Our personal care provision is operated in accordance with the guidelines and regulations set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England. Consistently, we meet and exceed the essential standards of quality and safety that people who use health and adult social care services have a right to expect.

Your care can be paid for in a number of ways, usually either from your own personal funds or from the personal budget you may have received from your local authority. No matter what your preference or budget, we'll take time to understand and appreciate your situation and, if necessary, work with a broker to devise an individual care plan just for you.

Our team of advisers at Right Focus, part of the Oaklea Trust, will be able to discuss this in further detail with you.

Your journey is something we're with you all the way on. If there is anything you'd like to ask, please just call us on 01539 735 025 and we'd be delighted to discuss your requirements and circumstances in more detail. You're also more than welcome to visit us at our premises around the UK or one of our customer advice team can visit you in your own home.
