Community Cafe comes to the Hub!

On the 9th of November, the Appleby Hub will launch its’ very own Community Cafe. The Cafe will be run as a social enterprise and will serve high quality food made on site. Join us for our opening day between 10am and 3pm and let us know what you think!

After several months of planning and preparation, the Community Cafe at the Appleby Hub is ready to launch. with a menu we are all very proud of, we’ll be serving all day breakfasts, and delicious lunches from our brand new kitchen, funded by the Forbes Charitable Foundation and installed as part of the Hub’s major refurbishment following December’s floods. Lunches include a ‘build your own’ sandwich on homemade bread, the Hub salad bowl, and the savoury tart of the day.

The cafe will be open from 10am to 3pm in the light and bright library area. You’ll be able to browse the Rotary second hand bookshop too, complete with a family reading corner. What better way to wile away an hour or two?
