Our beautiful Upcycle Auction Lots

| On Friday 18th November, we will be hosting an Upcycle Auction to raise money for our Wishlist Fund. Tickets are just £10 and include a glass of fizz on arrival and canapes throughout the evening. As well as the auction at the end of the night, we have Upcycling Stalls, Scrap Art, a raffle for a one off Wishlist inspired painting 'Beyond the Grey', and we'll be selling Wishlist Christmas Gift Boxes. Lot number 1: A restored and repainted coffee table, donated by Upcycling in Witherslack.

Lot number 2: A fabric taxidermy ‘Hare ead’, in upcycled fabric, wool, and wire. Donated by The Eden Workshop.

Lot number 3: A set of 3 nesting tables, repainted in vibrant pink and purple. Donated by Sabitoe,

Lot number 4: A vintage arch top mirror in fabric decoupage. Donated by Refreshed Fabric Art.

Lot number 5: A tie back chair made of men silk ties on a sprung dining chair with traditional upholstery.

Lot number 6: A tree branch and concrete floor lamp, made from a large tree branch rescued from a field in West Cumbria, with a concrete base using a concrete mix destined for landfill. Donated by Upcycle Upnorth.

Lot number 7: Love 120 - a mixed media panel using recycled materials and found objects from Morecambe Bay. Donated by The Seaside Canvas.

Lot number 8: Button Necklace and Earrings - a mix of vintage and new buttons.

Lot number 9: A re-upholstered foot stool which has been fully stripped back to the frame, re-webbed and upholstered with fabric from Steadfast and Barracks in Lancaster. Donated by Westmorland Upholstery.

Lot number 10: A set of 4 dining chairs, repainted, distressed, and re-upholstered. Donated by the Furniture Warehouse.

Lot number 11: A large 40cm x 70cm reclaimed mirror made from salvaged driftwood from Morecambe Bay. Donated by Driftwood Beachcomber.

Lot number 12: An Eco fire pit made from a recycled stainless steel drum. Great to sit around and cook on! Donated by UpcyclEd.

Lot number 13: Glass necklace - a beautiful piece of handmade glass from the Venetian Island os Murano, set with a sterling silver mount and displayed on a sterling silver choker. Donated by SilverJules.

Lot number 14: Possibly the definition of ‘unique’ this ‘Georgian Ship’ piece of art is made from reclaimed garden fence panels, crochet material waste paper, a corroded metal element, repurposed windbreak posts and a cigar box! Donated by Julian at Greenartworks Collective.

Lot number 15: Copper strand hair piece - multi strands of copper wire twisted together to create flowers and tendrils with freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals. This beautiful piece can be worn as a necklace or tiara, or woven in to a lovely hair-up style.

Lot number 16: Patchwork chair. Kaye, one of our Right2Work customers, has put hours and hours into the restoration of this lovely armchair. Donated by the Furniture Warehouse in Kendal.

Lot number 17: A showstopping Chesterfield ‘Queen Anne’ chair in its original antique blue. The team at the Furniture Warehouse have been lovingly restoring this stunning piece of furniture for the last year and it has certainly paid off!

Lot number 18: Something a bit different - our final lot is an upcycling session with our resident upcycler Rachel Cabble. Rachel is based at the Furniture Warehouse in Kendal but also teaches at the Brewery Arts Centre. This is a 2 hour tutored session.
