The Oaklea Trust and its subsidiary Right2Work (CIC -Community Interest Company R2W) operate across the North of England, working with a range of partners and stakeholders. Our mission is simple and clear:

“We believe in a society where individuals are enabled to be effective citizens irrespective of age, disability or disadvantage.We support individuals to achieve their aspirations through care and learning, encouraging independence and maximising capabilities.”

The role of a Trustee is vital for the smooth running of our organisation:

The Board of our organisation is the catalyst for all that we do and we currently have a vacancy. The following areas are of particular interest:-

  • Strategic planning.
  • Legal experience.
  • Fundraising and financial skills.
  • Interested in making a difference to people’s lives.
  • General interest in “What we do”.

Is it time for you to step up and make a difference?

If you think you have what it takes and are prepared to give your time freely, we will give you the opportunity to make a difference to many people’s lives, as well as the experience of shaping a fast-growing organisation. The minimum commitment is four hours every other month, the maximum is your choice.
