Customer Forum

Oaklea Trust has policies and procedures that promote equality, respect diversity, enable citizenship and support social inclusion for all customers and employees.

The Trust adopts practices that respect the rights of people with disabilities to privacy, dignity, independence, choice, spiritual beliefs and fulfillment in living their chosen lifestyles.

As part of this we feel communicating with and consulting with our customers is very important. One of the ways we do this is through the Customer Forum network. These are customer-led local groups meeting to discuss issues that are important to them.

The groups have renamed themselves ‘Friends Together’ and have become a very powerful voice in shaping how the Oaklea Trust conducts its business.

Oaklea is committed to involving you in decisions it makes that may affect you. The Customer Forum is one way that you can be kept aware of what is happening – you can also tell us what you think.

  • It is a time to share your experiences.
  • It is a time to make new friends, meet new people and keep in touch with old friends.
  • It is an opportunity to bring up any concerns you may have.
  • It is a chance to get information about what is on in and around in your local area.

If you would like to find out more, please ask your Oaklea Trust contact about the Customer Forum in your area.
