Boosting our North East presence on the Board – it could be you!
Have you considered joining the Oaklea Trust Board – our Chair, Chris Harris makes this direct appeal – especially to you if you live in the North East! We are looking for additional Trustee’s from across the North East of England to support our charity and the services that operate in County Durham and Northumberland.
There will be occasional travel to attend quarterly board meetings in Kendal, Cumbria and expenses will be covered by the Trust to support this.
We have Trustees in Durham & Northumberland – but we would like to see more of you!

What does the role entail?
If you have experience and knowledge in strategic planning, corporate and charities law, fundraising, project management such as building design and planning then we would love to hear from you.
The following areas are of particular interest but are not exclusive:
- Strategic vision
- Independent judgement
- Willingness to give time and commitment to being a trustee.
