“Leadership & Excellence Programme” -arriving 2023

Leading across the North
The Oaklea Group are launching a Leadership & Excellence Programme, which will commence in April 2023 across the North West & North East plus our Right2Work CIC.
The programme will allow existing, newly appointed line managers and also aspiring employees who wish to be appointed into a future management role to be enrolled on a 24-month Leadership and Excellence Programme. They will obtain a Level 5 Operations and Department Management Apprenticeship with an ILM qualification (ILM – Institute of Leadership & Management).
Why this is a good thing:
- Strengthens our succession planning procedures
- Retention of quality employees
- Have highly motivated, focused and aspiring line managers
What will the programme involve?
The Oaklea Group will be working in partnership with Kendal College who will lead and deliver the programme and support the successful employees through the duration of the course. The programme will enable a maximum of 8 employees to be enrolled. This will start in April 2023 for 24 months with an assessment at the end. Kendal College have previous and current experience with similar leadership programmes and have worked with Marie Curie and the NHS; all of which have been extremely successful.
How much work do I have to do?
The programme will involve lots of different elements and will include two days study per month one of which will be either at College or a venue of Oaklea’s choosing (the remaining day will either be virtual or for independent study).
