Mollie signs off in style

Earlier this summer we told you four of our young adults at the Learning2Live project in Windermere would be moving on after three momentous years with us…

Mollie & Grace – thumbs up to pastures new!

Grace was first out of the blocks and now Mollie! (Reminder here of Grace moving last month https://www.oakleatrust.co.uk/being-seen-being-heard-having-good-times/)

A place of my own

Team Manager Matthew Douglas went with Mollie and mum Rose to see her new apartment in Barrow.

House to House

Part of the programme at L2L is to prepare our young adults for ‘moving on’ and now Mollie is making that step…

“It has been an absolute pleasure to have Mollie at L2L and to see her progression and growth. She now starts a new chapter in her new home and we wish her all the best for the future.” Matthew Douglas, Team Manager and L2L lead

Here you can see Mollie signing tenancy forms with Andrew, the Management agent from the Housing Association at her new abode.

Hokey cokey Mollie!

She was quite a character at Windermere…and made an impact both in the house and in the community!

Mollie on celluloid…

“Can I get the hoover out in the video?”

Mollie also features heavily in the video that fellow housemate Jordan helped produce – see her here – from keeping up appearances to a welcoming homely presence!

Stepping into a new world…

All the best Mollie from the team at L2L and the wider Oaklea community!

New journeys begin….

You came – you saw – you prankster!

On leaving Mollie said her funniest moments in the house involved the ‘prank wars’!

“She is friendly with everyone she sees – when asked a question Mollie will answer well and often with humour!” Bridget Wood, Marchesi Centre, Windermere

“Me a prankster -surely not!”

Where are we based?
