Dairy visit max n laura cropped oaklea -websize

We’re milking this for all it’s worth!

All this month we’ve been marking a major milestone – we’ve been supporting people in County Durham for 21 years – Yay! (see Friday’s take https://www.oakleatrust.co.uk/in-the-frame-21-years-in-county-durham/)

Supportive faces at large!

So take a seat with Laura as we begin…

She’s one of many customers in County Durham who have benefitted from how we deliver the Oaklea vision “The finest opportunities in the kindest possible way” for 21 years & beyond!

Laura considers bale-ing out of milking!

As we continue to milk this milestone!

Max & Laura did so quite literally – our duo from Barnard Castle went on a fact finding mission to Acorn Organic Dairy Farm near Darlington. Their visit made possible thanks to our support teams across the County.

Oaklea support (and part time milk monitor) Nic Bainbridge was our dairy queen for the day: “Max & Laura went to visit the farm to see where our milk comes from that we drink and have on our cereal. We learnt all about the milk process and that the cows are milked at 5am when we are all in bed….!”

Never – Beyond the pale…

They also made a video of their trip – pour yourself a glass and a half & enjoy!

Collegiate Collage effort in Spennymoor

Meanwhile the actual 21st Celebrations continue…at South View in Spennymoor!

Oaklea’s Kay Berriman: “We had our carnival themed 21st Birthday Party at South View. We enjoyed candy floss, a singer, carnival games and had visitors from other Oaklea houses across County Durham. This included Mags from Spennymoor and well known double act – Kit & Kev from Barnard Castle. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating for Oaklea.”

Kay has summed up the 21st vibes with a series of collages….an artist at work (and play!)

Twenty One not out – And a tasty 21st cake!

Plus some carnival clowning around!

Videos worth churning…

If you want to see more of our County Durham customers and their exploits – they have a Tik Tok channel all to themselves go to https://www.tiktok.com/@oakleatrust and you will see lots of videos made by and for those we support…

Living our values for 21 years!

“Individuality, independence, interdependence, rights, respect, dignity, privacy, partnership, choice”

Enough of this partying – Max needs to get back to milking for real!

He’s got the Max factor er tractor!

Where are we based?
