It’s right up my Street says Big Shane
Our very own Shane from South Lakes made his way to Weatherfield – as you can see we have clear evidence that he had several walk on parts!

Oaklea’s Becki May tells us more from behind the lens: “Myself and Shane had a great day out in Manchester to visit Coronation Street! It’s something Shane has been wanting to do for a long time. It was so well planned – we even had time to stop off in Lancaster on the way back for his favourite KFC tea!”
Emmerdale
If you think we’re biased to the Lancastrian soap – fear not. Two separate Oaklea groups headed to the Dales and Emmerdale!
Ready for your audition….
Furness Registered Manager, Sue ‘Milly’ Millington: “Simon and Alan from Ulverston were supported by staff members Hazel, Pam and Rebecca to visit the set of Emmerdale. Look who they bumped into – yes it’s Cain Dingle!”
Elsewhere the NE also got in a lather!
Not to be outdone – customers from County Durham also ventured to Leeds to the set of Emmerdale too!
