Demolition gets go ahead – Extra Care delight!

Oaklea can share some great news today regarding our long term plans to develop the former Edenside Care Home in Cumbria’s Eden Valley.

“We are delighted we now have full planning permission for our #ProjectEdenside in Appleby. The decision notice has been issued this week by the local authority. What happens next -First phase of #ProjectEdenside is go!

  • A contractor has been identified to demolish the existing premises
  • Oaklea will be working with the planners to discharge the planning conditions
  • Oaklea continue to work with the Environment Agency to create a temporary parking arrangement on the site during their flood works in the town https://thefloodhub.co.uk/appleby/
