Be in no doubt, whether you were on call, did one shift or seventeen shifts, your work, flexibility and unwavering focus on our customers and their needs are the critically important parts of what makes us Oaklea. So, thank you.”
2025 – it’s about openness, team work and a year of opportunities:
2025 will be a year to get stuck in..

“2025 brings with it an opportunity to focus on and to celebrate our achievements (as well as those of our customers and learners) and to pull together to build on the valuable work completed to date. It’s my intention that we all take time to recognise the value we each bring to the team and to celebrate achievements, successes and more. I’ll be out and about visiting projects, meeting customers and learners and, of course, commissioners and funders. Wishing you a brilliant year ahead.”

We left them heading down the A1 – why perchance? Well these County Durham adventurers took our CEO’s words literally! They have sought new opportunities and experiences. As you can see they ‘pottered around in that there London! Our Barnard Castle group have been on their own magical mystery tour with added wands a weaving!
Oaklea’s Kendra even made a video of the trip – she and fellow Oaklea legends, Nic & Lauren are with Gemma, Amanda and Laura on the sightseeing visit to the capital. They had an open bus tour to see the sights then a trip to Harry Potter World…for a wizard of an experience!
