Trustee recruitment – Easy as ‘ABC’

Earlier in the year we had a recruitment drive for new Trustees – we were especially keen to hear from people based in the North East.

Catch of the day?

You could say – In fact it’s all happening in Northumberland at the moment. Here you can see some of the people we support from County Durham on a trip to Seahouses on the Northumberland coast and the Farne Islands over the Bank Holiday…but they weren’t the only big fish we caught….

Get to know your ABC’s…

We also landed a new Trustee from Northumberland...

So it is with great pleasure we can introduce our newest face…Anna Baker Cresswell – or ‘ABC‘ as she prefers! She describes herself as a ‘proud Northumbrian‘, keen gardener and all round good egg! (we added that bit as she’s been such a good sport in sending in images etc!)

“I’m a proud Northumbrian and have spent the last 20 years in the military charity sector. My beloved Mother had Parkinson’s and she died in 2004. I started a charity in her memory to bring Horticultural Therapy to the military in the UK. I’m really looking forward to helping to steer this excellent and ambitious organisation to support more communities in the North of England. I love public speaking and my two happy places are talking to people about Horticultural Therapy, and my garden.” ABC
