Oaklea (and our CIC subsidiary Right2Work) are a provider of Westmorland & Furness Council Targeted Short Breaks Activities (TSBAs)

We deliver sessions for those aged 5-18 – The programme is designed specifically to give children and young people with disabilities a variety of supported activities to take part in throughout the year. (see latest listing below)

Using local venues, we run a variety of after school term time clubs and activities. During school holidays we offer a range of full and half day sessions such as bowling and fun days. Parents and carers can have a real break whilst children can make friends, learn new skills and have fun!

Regular Clubs & activities (something for all ages)

South Lakes Clubs

Kentmere – Multi activity for ages 5-18, Saturdays 1000-1400 at Kendal Lads & Girls Club (Runs every Saturday)

Kentmere club promotes independence and has a key focus on socialisation. We plan our sessions around what the young people like to do, and try to incorporate their suggestions where we can. This term we have a board game night, baking, some fun experiments, sports, a quiz night, arts, crafts and more! We also incorporate team building challenges and games to help everyone get to know each other. Our sessions range from less structured to partially structured to keep a relaxed atmosphere young people feel welcome in.
