Our ‘Think Green’ project continues to be ‘elevating’ across Cumbria!

We’re already underway at Schools in the Eden Valley (Appleby Grammar School and Ullswater Community College, Penrith -see past news articles -example here https://www.oakleatrust.co.uk/were-digging-in-for-the-long-haul/) Now we’re cracking on with Schools in South Lakes.

All ‘rise’ for Sandgate School!

This is all part of a ‘Community Garden’ that the students at Sandgate are developing.

Elsewhere – things are taking root

Kirkbie Kendal School, Kendal have been planting 57 willows at Shepherds Green off Potter Fell Road, just north of the town. Here they’re also revitalizing a public footpath then planting some more trees at our Burneside Allotments! No turf wars here…it’s all a great collective effort
