Stretching out on an Oaklea trip!
Our Easter holiday activity trips for young people finished at a stretch but that wasn’t the only thing that left us puzzled!
You’ll be A-Mazed at what we did
Short Breaks final destination was Lakeland Maze Farm Park at Sedgwick for a day of karting, stroking furry things & much more! Plus as Alex quickly realised….so many choices -where to go first!
Easter Bunny in the frame!
It was a full on – and windswept day at Lakeland Maze – which started with a bit of softy softly petting! Some real cuties on show – and the fluffy things…
Forget F1 – this is a real competition!
We head to the starting grid….Let the more boisterous fun begin…all calm on the grid for Kart races. Some super slide action & a chance to have an extra lift on the trampolines.
It’s a farm with ‘eggstras’
The day rounded off with a tractor ride finding out about the 15-20,000 free range eggs produced daily here for Sainsbury’s & McDonalds…
No Puzzled looks at Puzzling Place!
Meanwhile the next day a different group headed north to Keswick. They were on #HAF2024 as part of the Holiday Activity & Food Programme supported by W&F Council & Department for Education.
Lots of fun & games at the Puzzling Place – and as you can see a chance for many of our young people to stretch themselves a bit!
CYP Team member, Danielle on discovering that all the healthy packed lunches had been scoffed – part of the HAF ethos! (the lunches not Danielle being shocked….)
Love these tasty trips as much as Danielle?
